Jack Taylor asked the question of himself when he felt God prompting him to write this book: "Surely all there is to know about prayer has already been written?" Yet, he still felt compelled by God to write and eventually the answer came: Despite all that has been written, preached and taught on prayer, the failure of the Church is the failure of prayer. Prayerlessness is the culprit of a host of problems we battle with daily. As churches or individuals we may accomplish much that is good, noble, respectable and humanitarian, but without prayer it will come to nothing.

About the Author

A graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, Jack Taylor has pastored several churches over a period of twenty-five years and is the author of a number of books. He is president of Dimensions Ministries and lives in Melbourne, FLorida with his wife Friede.
